Thursday I turned 23 years old and it was a wonderful-joyous day. I was able to visit both of my parents. I went to my favorite movie theatre (John Star in Troy, MI) to see Identity Thief. Then following that I was able to do some yoga at Living Waters in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI. It was truly a day of peace and a remainder that I have people in my life that care about me.
Yesterday was my birthday celebration, which I keep fairly
simple with a small group of friends at Buffalo Wild Wings. Of course I wore what
I would consider fabulous accompanied by my high top leopard print flatform
vans. I felt like my look was
interesting and fun but my friends would say otherwise. I was told I looked
confused and my pregnant sister stated that she hated my shoes. My motto in 2013 is simply “Haters Gonna Hate”
which means do you and wear what you see fit. Life is too short to worry about
others thoughts and opinions. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not upset with my
friends and family for speaking their mind and letting me know how they feel. But, I just felt the need to further state I don’t
care what other people think about my outfits. I guess that is the purpose in
having the fashion blog so I can vent about why my shoes are relevant or why I
like them.
Despite the ongoing hatred the surrounded my shoes they are
now a part of my wardrobe. And I must say that I am a fan of the glorious shoes.
First off they are comfortable and warm which is perfect for this cold dreadful
Michigan weather. The sneakers are also are stylish with the leopard print and
thick black sole. I honestly don’t know why I went so long without them in my
closet.
